About Smash-2025
Smash 2025 is a two-day badminton tournament organized by Playathon at the Playathon Badminton Club in Saravanampatti, Coimbatore.
The event is designed to promote badminton at both the state level (for kids) and the district level (for adults), offering a professional and competitive platform for players.
May 10 – Kids’ State-Level Open Tournament
Categories include Singles (Under 9, 11, 13, 15 for Boys & Girls) and Doubles (Under 13 & 15 Boys).
May 11 – Adults' Coimbatore District-Level Doubles Tournament
Categories include Pure Non-Medalist Doubles, Pure Jumbled Doubles, and Mixed Doubles

Only players from Coimbatore district can participate on Day 2 — ensuring a strong local audience and brand visibility for sponsors.
The tournament will feature professional organization, NIS-certified coaching staff, cash prizes, trophies, certificates, and extensive branding opportunities for partners.
Entry revenue will be utilized for operational profits, while sponsorships will cover the entire event expense of ₹1,50,000.

Sanjeev – Head Coach, Playathon Badminton Club
I am Sanjeev, a passionate badminton coach and fitness expert based in Coimbatore. I am NIS-certified (National Institute of Sports) and have several years of experience in training athletes across all age groups, from beginners to competitive players.
At Playathon Badminton Club, we are committed to professional coaching standards and conducting high-quality tournaments.
In the past, I have successfully organized:
Playathon Trophy 2022 with 160 participants (District Level - Coimbatore)
Badminton Addicts Trophy Season 1 (2023) with 180 participants (Tamil Nadu and Kerala Level)
Both events were managed smoothly with excellent feedback from players, parents, and local sponsors.
