Spring Field Day,

About the event

On Saturday, May 17th, West Town Social Club is offering a great chance for you to play classic outdoor sports and make some new friends at our Spring Field Day!

Participants will be divided into 4 teams for a fun competition involving some of your favorite games from childhood and adulthood! The lineup of activities will be as follows:

• 1pm-2:30pm - Grass Volleyball Competition (each team will play 3 games), Sack Race, Tug of War & Mystery Competition (TBA by organizer)
• 2:30pm-4pm - Kickball games

Teams will earn points for victories in each competition. The team who earns the most points in the competition will be the victor!

All players are invited and encouraged to attend our post-tournament celebration at Standard Bar & Grill for drinks and conversation. The after party is what truly makes this a social outing!

Why should you sponsor?

West Town Social Club creates fun and affordable social events in Chicago which people can attend by themselves or with friends.

Sponsorship allows WTSC to keep prices low for attendees while maximizing the event experience. WTSC is a debt-free organization which has never sought financing for day-to-day operations. WTSC had over 1,100 attendees across 43 events in 2024, more than 200% growth vs. 2023. WTSC seeks to continue growth and could use sponsor support to do so!

I'm a former teacher turned event organizer who runs West Town Social Club as a sole proprietor.

I founded West Town Social Club in 2022 with the mission of bringing people together for fun events in the West Town area of Chicago after I struggled to connect with people in my neighborhood. Using experiences from participating in social events and recreational sports leagues, as well as research, I have been able to put on a variety of events which cater to different audiences. All events are designed to bring people together for friendship and possibly more!
